greenlettuceMy number on tip for people looking to get healthier is to add more green to your diet. Whether from green smoothies, salads, soups, or just snacking on raw veggies- leafy greens (spinach, broccoli, kale, lettuce, collards, etc.) are the number one most deficient thing in the typical American diet. And with most greens containing folate which is a
natural precursor to seratonin in the brain, they have a huge impact on both physical and mental health.

3 recipes to get more greens in your diet:

“Cheddar” Broccoli Soup

“Black” Smoothie

5-minute Massaged Kale Avocado Salad; Ingredients: 1 head kale, stem removed and chopped. 2 avocados, 2 lemons, salt & pepper. Directions: Place chopped kale in large bowl. Juice 2 lemons over it. Add avocado and sprinkle with salt and pepper. Using your hands, “massage” the avocado and lemon juice into the kale. Serve immediately.
