As part of the new web series, The Role Model In You — here is the most recent interview. The Role Model In You series discusses how individuals were influenced as a child to lead a healthy lifestyle. It covers who influenced these individuals, the changes they made in their life to be healthy, and the message they would like to convey to the youth of today. Our guests include doctors, soccer stars, Super Bowl champions, NBA players, Olympic gold medalist, entrepreneurs, celebrities, and just regular people looking to share their story. We hope you enjoy it!

1. Your name, title, and age? What do you do (or did you do) for a living?

GiGi Dubois, Host/Comedian/Writer/Video Editor, 25 years old, I am a TV host, comedian, writer, model and video editor. I am most widely known for my web series and blog entitled GiGi Eats Celebrities.

2. Who was the person that inspired you as a child to eat healthy and stay fit? What was their relationship to you?

My mother, whom is now a retired doctor, has ALWAYS instilled healthy habits in my life. There isn’t a day that goes by that I don’t remember her reading the latest health and wellness book. She is one of the most intelligent people I know and because of her, I feel absolutely amazing. Currently, my mother and I are best friends even though she lives a few states away from me.

3. What did they do to inspire you?

My mother is stunning. She exercises two hours a day, every day (no excuses), eats the healthiest diet on the face of the planet and seems quite content at her age. I only hope to have as much energy and vim as her when I get to her age and beyond.

momdaugtherbike4. How did their lesson change your life?

I feel phenomenal. I too exercise for 2 hours a day and aside from my mother, I eat the cleanest, healthiest diet on the planet. I do have to admit that I have severe stomach issues, to the extent that my large intestine was taken out during emergency surgery, but I was born this way. By changing my eating habits to mirror my mother’s, I have been able to control my stomach issues as much as I possibly can. I know that if I were to eat processed garbage, I would most likely be in the hospital all the time, and could potentially be dead.

5. Do you convey their message to kids in your life presently?

I do not have kids in my life, however, on my web series and blog (GiGi Eats Celebrities) I convey this message to EVERYONE! I am all of my peers go-to girl for all information about health, wellbeing, fitness and nutrition and I plan on only increasing my exposure as this person. (Oh and I do this in a comedic fashion because the topic of health can be quite mundane).

6. What would be your main message to children today to lead healthy lifestyles?

There are far healthier and tasty foods in this world that Twinkies and Fruit Loops, you just need to be creative… And being creative with food is extremely entertaining and fun!

7. Do you have a web site you would like to promote….web address only?
