applescaleOne thing any American can do to be more healthy in 2013 is to drink “green juice” at least once a day. It can be created in a juicer by combining fresh sunflower sprouts, pea sprouts, cucumber, celery, and maybe a green apple slice, if you’d like. All of our guests at the wellness retreat/spa, Hippocrates Health Institute, drink it at least twice a day. Green juice detoxifies the body, fosters healthy weight loss, strengthens your immune system, gives you more energy and helps to alkalize your body, which is important since many diseases thrive in acidic conditions.
