Tip # 1:
For many people, there’s a misconception that healthy foods lack flavor. Meals don’t need to be laden with salt, fat, or sugar to taste good. On the contrary! Some of the healthiest meals you can find incorporate basic ingredients (like vegetables, fruits, whole grains, and protein sources) that are packed with vital nutrients and filled with flavor. A fast and easy way to add extra pizazz to your meal is to sprinkle it with seasonings (such as herbs and spices). Not only do these add flavor, they can also help rev your metabolism. So, you’re not only filling up on foods that give your body what it needs, your tastebuds (and waistline) will be happy too.
Tip # 2:
While it’s important to eat a well-balanced diet, it’s not always possible to get all the nutrients your body needs to stay healthy and strong. In addition, as we age, our bodies absorb less nutrients from food sources than when we were younger. That’s where supplements can help. Adding a multi-vitamin, Vitamin C (at least 500-1000 mg), and Vitamin B-100 to your daily regime will help your body maintain a consistent level of energy throughout the day, improve your ability to cope with stress, and strengthen your immune system (which helps to ward away colds and illnesses).
