Simple Tips To Improve Your Alexa Rank, Google Page Rank, Social Media Skills, And SEO.

“There are so many methods within social media and SEO to get a page to the top. So I will try to combine from both fields, and give you something you haven’t heard yet. Surely you have heard about things like link popularity and good title tags. SEO is a constantly evolving space, a good method of late is incorporating the Google plus like button at the bottom of pages. Unfair or not, Google puts a precedence in their search results on pages that have high “G+” hits, vs. facebook or some other network, as far as their concerned, it means a page has relevance if it’s been shared a lot, and they like the real time aspect of it-it’s more contemporary than how many pages are linked to your site. So whether you favor Google Plus or not, it definitely behooves a website to at least offer the +1 Button at the bottom of pages even if they are not on Google Plus.”

“Another tip you may not have got yet is that any and all photos on your website should have an “alt” meta tag. This is a meta tag to describe each photo. A search engine like Google doesn’t know what your photo of your merchandise is a picture of unless you tell them, so be sure to write a keyword description, and then after those key words write “Image, photo, picture” as people often include those words in an image search. So your photo of a Santa hat for sale should read “Santa hat image picture” and so forth.”

“Lastly, Since Google is the biggest player in the space (and Bing mostly copies Google) a great thing for all webmasters, SEOs, CMOS etc. and anyone else matters to, is to read Google’s Webmaster guidelines, and use Google analytics: https://www.google.com/webmasters/tools/home The best resource for SEO by the way, is well known to be SEOMoz.org.”
