French vanilla Pudding

For desserts, here is a simple calcium-packed pudding recipe.

What you will need:

1 tbsp of cornstarch
2 tbsp of sugar
¼ tsp of salt
1/3 egg
½ cup of fat free and half in half
¼ tsp of vanilla extract
¼ cup of mixed berries (fresh)

What you should do:

Place salt, sugar, cornstarch and eggs in a bowl and whisk until it becomes smooth.
The half-and-half should then be placed on a pan over medium heat and bring it to an almost boil. Using a ladle, you can transfer it into the egg mixture. Whisk right away after adding. Once everything has been transferred to the egg mixture, bring the egg mixture back to the pan. Place pan over medium heat.

Stir on a regular basis with the use of a wooden spoon. Scrape the sides of the pot and stir vigorously while the mixture becomes thick. Stop when the mixture looks chunky and is already spurting air. Take away the pan from the heat and add in vanilla extract. Pour the mixture in a heatproof bowl and whisk it from time to time until it cools down. Cover and place it in refrigerator overnight. Add in the fresh berries.
