1. Your name, title, and age? What do you do (or did you do) for a living?

Justin Rundle, Fitness Professional | Strength Coach | Writer, 27. I’m the cofounder of Workout Anywhere by RundleFit. We provide new, fast paced home, work or traveling video based workouts every week. As well, our members receive whole food meal plans, recipes, challenges and real support/interaction with us and our community for a recession proof price.

2. Who was the person that inspired you as a child to eat healthy and stay fit? What was their relationship to you?

My parents inspired me to eat healthy, be active and stay fit. Every meal was packed with well rounded nutrition.

3. What did they do to inspire you?

I couldn’t leave the table until I was done. I believe this was partially a good and bad message. Good, because I ate all the vegetables I disliked at the time. Bad, because this encourages lack of portion control.

4. How did their lesson change your life?

At the time I didn’t appreciate it, but I’m grateful now. I work with so many people who did not have any good health, fitness and nutrition role models in their upbringing and it certainly creates a major challenge in moving forward and adopting a healthier lifestyle with these components have been absent for so long.

familyrunning5. Do you convey their message to kids in your life presently?

I do. Everyday I work with high schoolers and I preach the benefits of a well rounded diet and the power of fruits and vegetables. It’s not always easy to sway a high schooler’s addiction to convenience food, but every time one of them tells me how they are buying into my philosophy, I count it as a win.

6. What would be your main message to children today to lead healthy lifestyles?

As much time as one can spend playing video games needs to equate to time spent being physically active. Also, to grow optimally one needs to learn to love a mix of fresh fruits and vegetables. Lean protein, complex carbs and good fats are essential, but the game changer is in fresh fruits and veggies.

7. Do you have a web site you would like to promote….web address only?
