joggersWe’ve seen scar treatment help numerous people who were suffering from chronic symptoms. They had tried everything else and, as a last resort, were motivated to try something new. Treating their scars allowed a breakthrough in their health.

“Debra” developed childhood diabetes within months of a serious electrical shock that left a large scar on her hand. “Dustin” had heart symptoms that responded wonderfully when his scars and other stressors were treated. “Terry” had depression and anxiety when her scars short-circuited her normal brain function. I could go on and on about patients who have written testimonials after coming alive again through natural methods like scar treatment.

Just recently, two tough cases involving scars have sought care. “Joanne,” an active and healthy seventy-year old, was totally normal until she had an angiogram through a blood vessel in her wrist. Soon afterward, she developed painful symptoms down her right arm and was diagnosed with reflex sympathetic dystrophy syndrome. Sixty-five year old “Dan” developed a painful shingles-like condition soon after a hernia repair on the same side as his symptoms.

Scars on the midline of the body—from a hysterectomy, episiotomy, C-section, circumcision, vasectomy or open-heart surgery, for example—are especially problematic. These scars cross major meridian or energy pathways that are recognized by acupuncturists and doctors of oriental medicine. When the energy flow is disrupted, associated organs can suffer.

What can you do to prevent scars from affecting your health and energy? First, avoid creating new scars as much as possible. Avoid tattoos since they act as scars and inject heavy metals into the body. If you must pierce your body with jewelry, limit it to one per ear in the usual spot and with only small earrings.

seniormanUnless it’s an emergency or crisis situation, have surgical procedures only as a last resort and after trying natural methods of healing. Be careful to prevent animal and insect bites and cuts as much as possible. Not all scars cause problems, but it’s wise to minimize them. Active scars—those that are stressing your body—can be identified with a technique such as Nutrition Response Testing (NRT.) You can find the closest NRT practitioner to you by visiting www.unsinc.info

If you already have scars, firmly rub fresh wheat germ or sesame seed oil (muscle testing can indicate which is better for you) into the scars for three minutes daily for 60 days. This helps about 50 percent of active scars. Light therapy (low intensity laser light) usually handles the other 50 percent.
